At Brawley Animal Hospital in Mooresville, pet grooming is about more than appearance—it’s an important part of your pet’s overall health and comfort. Our veterinary-guided grooming services focus on hygiene, skin health, and stress-free care in a calm, supportive environment. From soothing baths and skin-safe shampoos to nail trims and gentle brush-outs, each visit is tailored to your pet’s individual needs.

What We Do

At Brawley Animal Hospital, grooming is an important part of your pet’s overall health and comfort—not a cosmetic service. Our experienced team provides gentle, individualized grooming care focused on hygiene, skin health, and stress-free handling in a veterinary-supervised environment.

We use a soothing, skin-friendly bathing system that allows for a deep cleanse and warm soak without irritating sensitive skin. Every grooming visit includes a full bath, ear cleaning, gentle brush-out, nail trim, and anal gland expression for dogs. For pets with allergies, skin conditions, or sensitivities, we offer medically appropriate shampoos selected by our veterinary team. Flea prevention can also be applied during your pet’s visit if recommended.

Our grooming services are designed to keep pets clean, comfortable, and healthy—while supporting their medical and wellness needs.

Why Grooming Matters

Routine grooming plays an important role in your pet’s comfort, skin health, and overall wellness. Regular, veterinary-guided grooming helps support both physical health and early detection of potential concerns.

Consistent grooming can help:

  • Reduce shedding and manage loose hair

  • Keep the skin clean and healthy

  • Remove dirt, debris, dander, and allergens

  • Prevent uncomfortable matting that can irritate the skin

  • Lower the risk of ear infections through proper ear cleaning

  • Maintain healthy nail length to support comfort and mobility

  • Support sensitive skin with soothing, medically appropriate shampoos

  • Allow early identification of skin issues, external parasites, lumps, or abnormalities

By keeping your pet clean and comfortable, grooming supports long-term health and helps your veterinary team monitor changes that may require attention.

Comprehensive Grooming Services

Our grooming services are focused on hygiene, comfort, and skin health—not cosmetic styling. Each visit is customized to your pet’s individual needs and handled with patience, gentle care, and close veterinary oversight.

Services include:

  • Warm bath with coat-appropriate or veterinary-recommended medicated shampoos

  • Gentle towel drying and brush-out

  • Nail trimming

  • Ear cleaning

  • Anal gland expression for dogs

  • Hygiene-focused care as medically appropriate

  • Flea prevention application (optional)

Your pet’s grooming visit is personalized based on skin condition, comfort level, and overall wellness needs.
Please note: haircuts, shaving, and cosmetic coat styling services are not offered.
